Yes. Click the 🖼️ button in the input bar to attach any image (PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF). The agent uses Cehpoint AI's vision to read text in screenshots, identify errors in code photos, describe UI mockups, and more. The image is sent directly to the AI — nothing is uploaded to our servers.
Skills are Markdown files in your skills directory (e.g. %APPDATA%\cehpoint-cowork\skills\my-skill\SKILL.md). The agent reads every Skill automatically before starting a task. Use them to set project conventions, company style guides, or custom instructions. Open Settings → Skills to see the guide with a copy-paste template.
Go to Settings → Diagnostic Log and click "View Log". The app writes structured log entries to %APPDATA%\cehpoint-cowork\app.log (rotates at 1 MB). You can clear it or paste it when reporting a bug.
Yes. Point it at a local model (Ollama, vLLM, LM Studio) in Settings, set the base URL to http://localhost:11434, pick your model, and it runs fully offline. The web_search and web_fetch tools will obviously need internet for those specific tasks.
Only to the AI provider you chose (Cehpoint AI, Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or your local model). Files, commands and conversations never touch our servers. The app is local-first by design.
We built in safety guards: destructive shell patterns (rm -rf /, format c:, registry wipes, etc.) are blocked. Force-push and hard-reset git commands are blocked too. For code execution, use the Docker sandbox mode which isolates every run. That said, treat it like any powerful tool — review what it's doing.
Create a file named .coworkrules in any project folder and write plain-English rules the agent must follow — coding style, forbidden commands, language preference, anything. Cehpoint AI Cowork reads this automatically when you mount that folder.
